Wil-son Williams Dance
Fitness is transforming lives, turning sadness to joy, breathing
new life into tired souls and unleashing passions. WilDanceFit
is stirring up creativity, bridging generations and cultures
and triggering long-forgotten memories.
Wil helps you choose a groove - If you don't know what kind
of dance you might like, the best thing to do is experiment.
Dance with Wil increases brain chemicals and nerve cell growth.
Dance fitness helps keep your body and brain healthy longer
as you age. Also dancing that requires you to remember steps
and sequences boosts brain power by improving memory skills.

Calories - Dancing can burn as many calories as walking, swimming
or riding a bicycle. During a half hour of sustained dancing
you can burn between 200 and 400 calories.
Cardiovascular conditioning - Regular exercise can lead to a
slower heart rate, lower blood pressure and an improved cholesterol
profile. Experts typically recommend 30 to 40 minutes of continuous
activity three to four times a week.
Strong bones - The side-to-side movements of Wil's dances strengthen
your weight bearing bones (tibia, fibula and femur) and can
help prevent or slow loss of bone mass (osteoporosis).
Rehabilitation - If you're recovering from heart, knee or other
surgery, movement is part of your rehabilitation. Wil-son Williams
Dance Fitness is a positive alternative to jogging and standard
aerobics.
Sociability - Dancing contains a social component that solitary
fitness endeavors don't. It gives you an opportunity to develop
strong social ties which contribute to self-esteem and a positive
outlook.
With Wil-son Williams Dance Fitness you extend the enjoyable
years of your life. A 2003 study published in the New England
Journal of Medicine found that ballroom dancing at least twice
a week made people less likely to develop dementia. Research
also has shown that some people with Alzheimer's disease are
able to recall forgotten memories when they dance to music they
used to know.
This is your chance to dance!
You are invited to join any of Wil's classes and take advantage
of the many mind body benefits today!
